R&D, Innovation, and Design Certification

CRSL in the MIMIT Register of Certifiers
CRSL is listed in the official register established by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (Decreto Direttoriale 15/05/2024 n. 7293) as an accredited entity authorized to issue certifications in R&D, Innovation, and Design. Operating across 14 key project areas, CRSL supports companies throughout the certification process, including interactions with MIMIT.

Decreto Legge 73/2022 introduced a technical-scientific certification that allows companies to confirm the classification of their projects as R&D, technological innovation, or design, providing legal certainty in tax matters.

This certification is binding for tax authorities, ensuring that the nature of the investment cannot be contested during audits.

Protected Investments for Companies
This certification is available for companies that have made or plan to make investments in R&D, innovation, or design. It can be applied to R&D activities from 2015 to 2019 (DL 145/2013) and activities from 2020 onward (Law 160/2019). Certification is available to all companies not subject to formal tax disputes through a processo verbale di constatazione.
